MICE Show Asia 2019 to put spotlight on the thriving MICE sector in APAC

 The inaugural MICE Show Asia in 2019  will be organised by Messe Berlin, Singapore between October 16-18 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands.

Katrina Leung, MD, Messe Berlin (Singapore), the organiser of MICE Show Asia said that the MICE sector in APAC continues to thrive, with the region expected to witness the highest growth rate in the next 5 years. After successfully organising ITB Asia for 12 years, they noticed the fast-growing demand for the MICE and corporate travel segments. MICE Show Asia 2019 seeks to capture this growing demand and she was  confident participants will gain the highest value at this show.

Professionals from the the incentive travel, meetings, and events industries come together to discuss the latest trends, hear from up-and-coming MICE innovators, and network with suppliers during the event.

More than 60% of MICE buyers are from Asia-pacific (APAC) countries. The MICE Show Asia 2019 will bring together participants of which 47% are from MICE Agencies, 26% from Corporates such as Meetings & Incentive Planners, 15% from Professional Conference or Exhibition Organisers, 9% of attendees will be from Association buyers, and 3% will be Independent Planners.

Asia-Pacific is expected to witness the highest growth rate of 8.6% through to 2023 as per the Allied Market Research on the global MICE market.

The upward trend is fueled by the high demand in commercial aviation, visa restrictions, investment in better infrastructure  majorly seeing demand from Singapore, China and India.
