In the midst of coronavirus, Visit KC shifts its priorities

Published on : Monday, March 23, 2020

In the middle of sudden closed down of bars and restaurants, Visit KC is currently shifting its priorities in trying to help all the workers associated with hourly tourism and hospitality.

The main priority of this non-profit organization is the safety and well-being of the residents of this place, visitors and convention attendees. We appreciate and support the decision of the city to take the adequate and responsible steps to protect our region.

The organization is in close communication with the event partners and has started exploring the immediate future in regards of events and meetings of all sizes in the Kansas City.

By utilizing the common-sense guidelines showed by the KCMO Health Department, we at Vist KC encourage locals to help the hospitality and tourism industries as much as they can. Many local businesses remain open with healthy and preventative practices in place.
