Multi-million dollar tourism projects underway in Fiji

fijiPermanent Secretary for Fiji Tourism Shaheen Ali said that a number of multi-million dollar tourism projects are underway in the country.


Of this project, the $70 million investment by Pullman in Wailoaloa is almost near completion and  the $500 million investment in Komave by Wyndham Silkroad Ark Hotel Investment is the one to look for. The other projects include the Sixth Senses Fiji development in Vunabaka which has an investment of around $300million.


The Holiday Inn investment outside Denarau Island is also expected to start soon.


Investments has been on an upward trajectory and continues to contribute 25% and above towards the Fijian GDP.


In 2015, private investments comprised 20% of the GDP or 80% of total investments.
