MVA to connect JATA Tourism Expo 2022

The Marianas Visitors Authority, for the first time since the last in-person 2019 event, is all gearing up to join representatives of other foreign countries and regions in the coming week at the largest annual travel show in Japan.

Arranged by Japan Travel and Tourism Association and Japan Association of Travel Agents or JATA, JATA Tourism Expo 2022, is recognized globally as world’s one largest travel events and highlights Japan as a great tourism country to the world. On Sept. 22-25, 2022, the event will be held at Tokyo Big Sight Convention Center in Tokyo, Japan.

MVA Managing Director Priscilla M. Iakopo, in an invitation letter to MVA members to be a part of the event, underlined the importance of the expo.

Iakopo said that a comprehensive travel trade event, JATA Tourism Expo Japan brings all the prominent players from the travel and tourism industry and travel-related business fields under one roof. JATA Tourism Expo Japan provides a mix of opportunities, comprising from business meetings, negotiations, insight sharing, media reporting and direct business-to-business and business-to-consumer promotional activities of tour products, facilities, and destinations.

For all travel agents, JATA Online Travel Mart Webinar, for the last two years, gave opportunities to take part in destination seminars and meetings with MVA and other destination marketing offices online. MVA in 2022 will have a promotional booth emphasized by indigenous dance, live performances and arts and crafts demonstrations.
