Effective immediately, Austrian Airlines is offering myPanorama, a 360° tour of the flight cabins in the Austrian Airlines fleet. This means passengers and other interested parties can virtually visit the aircraft, and also go to numerous infopoints to inform themselves about supplementary services offered by Austrian Airlines. They include Smart Upgrade, DO & CO à la carte meals, eJournals, shopping on board, seat reservations, seats with more legroom and services for children.
“At present, the 360° tour is possible by accessing the fleet and product pages of the Austrian Airlines Website”, explains Julian Fischer, Innovation Manager at Austrian Airlines. “Starting in July, passengers will be able to virtually visit the particular type of aircraft in which they will later take off during the online booking process. On request, they will also be able to book supplementary services. Austrian Airlines is the first carrier in the world offering this innovative service”, he adds. Thanks to its response design, myPanorama can be used on desktop computers as well as on tablets and smart phones.
