National Travel and Tourism Week in the City of Manitowoc

This week is National Travel and Tourism Week, and hence, the City of Manitowoc’s newly formed Tourism Department is all set.

Tourism Director Courtney Hansen said that the Department will be hosting a Meet & Greet at the S.S. Badger Car Ferry Dock Building, which is the home of the new Visit Manitowoc Visitor Information Center from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Local restaurants, breweries, attractions, hotels, and others with tourism interest will get to enjoy coffee and cookies and display their marketing materials.

The Department of Tourism will also be hosting a luncheon with invited stakeholder guests and keep them informed and answer questions about the continued growth and positive future of tourism in the City of Manitowoc.
