In 2023, outbound tourism from the Netherlands saw significant growth, driven by the ease of travel and the country’s high standard of living. With a passport that grants visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 191 countries as of August 2024, Netherland travelers enjoy remarkable global mobility, allowing them to explore a wide range of destinations without the need for visas. The Economic Mobility Score is an indicator of a country’s access to global economic opportunities through visa-free travel. The Netherlands stands out with a remarkably high score, reflecting its citizens’ significant economic mobility. Netherland passport holders benefit from visa-free access to 92.45% of the global GDP, highlighting the country’s strong international relationships and the economic advantages its citizens enjoy.
