New Buyer and Seller Business Speed-Dating programme added to ATF 2020 TRAVEX

ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) Travel Exchange (TRAVEX) has announced the addition of a new business speed-dating component to the third day of TRAVEX programme to be held between 14-16 January.

All attending buyers and sellers will have the opportunity to meet and swap contacts with each other on the first day of TRAVEX (14 January). Prior to business appointment and exhibition days the fast-paced activity will be held.

Darren Ng, Managing Director of TTG Asia Media mentioned that they wanted to create additional lead generation platforms for delegates to benefit from the entire ATF 2020 experience. Each delegate can easily expect to exchange at least 60 business contacts during this period. This is on top of their pre-scheduled business appointments over the next 2 days.

A minimum of 1 to 1 buyer-seller ration is being targetted by the TTG Events who are the organsiers of ATF 2020 TRAVEX.  Representation of suppliers from all 10 ASEAN destinations have been confirmed.

The Buyer hosting programme is in the final phase with more than 500 registrations received till date, the booth spaces are filling fast.

ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) is a cooperative regional effort to promote the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region as one tourist destination. ATF TRAVEX is the longest-running annual ASEAN leisure travel trade event, showcasing the largest contingent of ASEAN sellers. This annual event involves all the tourism industry sectors of the 10 ASEAN Member Nations: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.

Each year, the hosting of ATF is rotated among the member countries. Brunei Darussalam will host ATF 2020. ATF 2020 marks the 39^thanniversary of this event since its inauguration in Malaysia in 1981.
