A new industry leadership group is being made which would be co-chaired by Ivan McKee, the Tourism Minister of Scotland to help hospitality and tourism sectors and impel the ambition of the country to be a world leader in the tourism of 21st century.
Also, the group will try its best to deliver Scotland Outlook 2030, the national tourism strategy of the country, by targeting to perk up the value and improve the sector’s benefits across the country at the same time delivering the very best for businesses, visitors, and communities.
Ivan McKee while commenting on the declaration said that the setting up of this new Tourism and Hospitality Industry Leadership Group will make sure that they can work together on solutions to meet the disputes as well as opportunities for the sector. He also said that he is looking forward to talk in detail with the members on the way they can work in tandem to deliver Scotland Outlook 2030 and more extensively the National Strategy for Economic Transformation.
In the last few years, the Scottish Tourism Emergency Response Group has played an important role in supporting the sectors in terms of the instant revival from the ill effects of the pandemic. As they keep on recovering from the ill effects and grow their finances once again, there are different disputes affecting the sectors, including the Cost Emergency and Brexit.
