The tourism sector of Cape Town is ready to welcome a grand boost thanks to a bilateral partnership with New York.
NYC & Company has signed a fresh deal with Cape Town Tourism that would enable the two cities to market each other as tourist destinations. It is the first accord NYC & Company that has signed with a destination marketing body in Africa.
Sixty million tourists visit New York City annually.
On the other hand, Mother City welcomes five million tourists per year. The destination marketing organizations have now joined hands to share the best practice in the field of tourism marketing and exchange marketing tools to boost these statistics to a greater extent.
Enver Duminy, CEO, Cape Town Tourism said that the two-year partnership offers promises of increasing the tourism locale of the city’s holiday.
Cape Town promises equivalent marketing options for NYC & Company in return.
