Stewart Wingate, Chief Executive of Gatwick Airport, thanked Nick for all of his efforts at Gatwick. He shared in his statement that he is proud to work closely with him over the past ten years, especially during the significant changes that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic, unprecedented in Gatwick’s history.

He also added that Nick is a strategic thinker and has contributed hugely as part of Gatwick’s team. He also wished him luck and success for the next stage of his career. Gatwick’s Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Lorenzo Rebel, will take up the role on an interim basis while Gatwick begins the search for a permanent replacement.
