Plan to open a new hotel and restaurant in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv is announced by Nobu Hospitality.
A boutique hotel has been planned, a new project for Nobu and De Niro.
Nobu aims to bring 20 hotels around the world by 2020 and it will be the company’s 17th property.
Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Hollywood acting legend Robert De Niro and film producer Meir Teper,founded the brand and opened its latest property Nobu Hotel Marbella, Spain in March.
Tel Aviv would be featuring 38 rooms including garden, fitness centre, pool, outdoor spaces and a private rooftop area but the dates for the opening is yet to be confirmed.
Trevor Howell, Nobu Hospitality Group’s chief executive mentioned that this is an exciting new project and coupled with Tel Aviv’s presence as a major high-tech and business centre.
The strong tourism market perfectly fits with the global clientele. In 2017 the brand opened four properties which included four properties in UK location –Nobu Hotel Shoreditch in London, Nobu Hotel Ibiza and two hotels in California.
In Barcelona, Riyadh, Los Cabos, Chicago, Toronto, Sao Paulo and Atlanta Nobu has few hotels in development.
