North East India’s Assam is invited by the Government of Kazakhstan

Assam tourism  The Government of Kazakhstan has invited the tour operators and the businessmen of North East Indian state Assam who are involved with travel and tourism sector, to explore the opportunities for the bilateral cooperation in and with the various parts of the country in MICE tourism, and leisure tourism.

 

 

This invitation by the Government of Kazakhstan is  to explore bilateral business linkages was made by Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to India Bulat Sarsenbayev during a five-day official visit to Guwahati, the capital city of Assam.

 

 

Inaugurating an interactive session titled “Kazakhstan-India: Cooperation in Tourism”, which was organised by the Embassy of Kazakhstan and the Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC), Ambassador Sarsenbayev gave a extensive description of the main areas of cooperation between Kazakhstan and India in each and every sector like culture and tourism.

 

 

He informed the participants about his government’s aim to generate a favourable business climate. The details about the current level of cooperation in the tourism sector between the two countries were also provided.

 

 

The 90-minute presentation included a Q and A session, where the Ambassador of Kazakhstan gave answers to various queries from the tourism industry leaders.

 

 

The Assam Tourism Development Corporation said it is willing to organise a appearance of tourism opportunities of Assam in Almaty.

 

 

The North east India’s state Assam is known throughout the world for its tea plantations, national parks, natural landscape and historical monuments.
