North Indian state Jammu and Kashmir is preparing to host the biggest tourism convention in this tulip season in order to boost the MICE tourism in Kashmir Valley.
The biggest gathering in past three decades will see 500 influential major players and policymakers visiting valley to explore Jammu and Kashmir.
The gathering is significant as it usually happens at a famed global destination.
In the meet, report mentioned the tourism industry players from all over India will meet in the month of March.
Over 10 tourism players from foreign countries and representatives of various states are also expected to attend the 64th convention of Travel Agents Association of India, said the report.
Zahoor Qari, chairman of TAAI’s Jammu and Kashmir said that all the decision-makers of the industry will be under one roof, who can chalk out a strategy and help us re-launch Kashmir as a complete international tourist destination.
TAAI chairman Sunil Kumar visited Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday to take stock of the preparations, mentioned the report.
