Thomas Ramdahl, chief commercial officer at Norwegian stated that the airlines wants to provide the customers with increased choice, flexibility and value. He was pleased to welcome Tampa, Florida as the new destination.
The new fleet of aircraft will allow the customers to enjoy the trip right from the time they step on board due to their state of the art entertainment system, comfortable and spacious cabin.
New Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft will be offering the Norwegian’s long-haul flights from London Gatwick that will offer up to 344 seats in a two-class configuration, economy and premium.
For an enhanced experiences a new extended premium cabin has been introduced. It will have 60 per cent more seats for passengers.
Passengers will get more than a metre of legroom, complimentary meal service and drinks, generous baggage allowance and airport lounge access in the new 56-seat cabin configuration.
Norwegian has13 direct long-haul destinations and in winter 2018 the airline will serve 11 routes to the USA. This will include the new addition of Tampa.
Guy Stephenson, chief financial officer, Gatwick Airport mentioned that Norwegian’s new Tampa service will be a new daily schedule for the existing Buenos Aires and Boston routes.
The increased services will give our passengers more choice and flexibility.
