Norwegian Cruise Line canceled more sailings this week as COVID continues to spread across the country. Christine Da Silva, senior vice president of branding and communications for Norwegian, confirmed the cancellations.
Da Silva said that they will communicate all relevant information to impacted guests and travel partners directly. We understand the inconvenience and frustration this disruption may cause and appreciate the continued understanding of our loyal guests and travel advisors.
Da Silva did not mention in the statement, how customers would be reimbursed for the cancellations.
Last week, Norwegian canceled cruises on eight of its ships including earlier sailings on Norwegian Getaway (Jan. 5) and Norwegian Pearl (Jan. 14).
The cancellations came on the heels of Norwegian’s announcement that its Jan. 3 sailing of the Norwegian Pearl would end early due to COVID related circumstances.
