NW China’s Qinghai boosts rural tourism to remove poverty

QinghaiTourism is now playing a vital role in removing poverty from China’s economic scenario.

 

 

The international tourists visit the Maozhao scenic area in the Ledu District of Haidong City, northwest China’s Qinghai Province, 5th July 2018.

 

 

The Ledu District is expanding tourism to help villagers get rid of poverty in recent years. The rural tourism here is developing truly enhancing its tourism industry.

 

 

This tourism expansion encourages villagers to take part in the operation of Ledu’s Maozhai scenic area. About 35 villagers from registered poverty-stricken households found jobs after training and earn an annual salary of over 8,000 yuan. It gives a boost in rural economic sector of this Chinese village.

 

 

NW China’s Qinghai is noted to the international tourists for the presence of Qinghai Lake, Xiaobo Lake, Qinghaihu Zangzu Minsu Museum, Qinghaihu State Key Scenic Areas and Qing Hai Hu Jin Sha Wan, which are popular for adventure and leisure tourism.
