Officials meet to talk about Indiana tourism

For the two-day Indiana Tourism Conference at the Lerner Theater on Tuesday, state and local leaders came together to talk about what they can do to improve tourism and enhance the financial condition all over Indiana.

How the smaller cities in the Hoosier state can attract greater number of tourists like Indianapolis was one of the topics of discussion here.

The Executive Director of the Indiana Tourism Association, Carrie Lambert, said that being able to highlight that to the commoners, and declare, that being in Indianapolis downtown area is a unique experience. It’s the way to explain people all these exclusive opportunities that they have and the way it looks like which is different than what they had thought about. The conference is organized every year but 2023 marks the first time it’s come to Elkhart.
