From the Middle East, Oman will be the first country to be named as the partner country for this global event. H.E. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Mahrazi, Minister of Tourism will head the official Oman delegation. It will be accompanied by more than 50 tourism related companies which will include hotels and establishments , 5 tourism investment companies, 3 adventure tourism companies and the Oman Aviation Group.
The Sultanate is committed to elevate the tourism industry and the partnership demonstrates the event’s confidence and appreciation for the nation.
The most important events of the show will be the opening ceremony of ITB Berlin which will be held on the eve of the launch of the exhibitions. Major decision makers, German tourism officials, 180 participating countries and representatives from top global media organizations will be present.
Oman will be on spotlight during the five-day event and the diverse portfolio of Oman’s tourism offerings, cultural potential and related components will be showcased.
Across an attendance of various participating delegations and global media the official opening ceremony will take place which will be dedicated to the Sultanate with a special ribbon cutting event to held at the Oman Pavilion.
During the global events the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra will hold a concert in Berlin and the Ministry of Tourism will organise two roundtable discussions and visual presentation focused on Omani history, civilization and culture.
