Yesterday i.e. on Sunday, the Exports and Tourism Promotion Board of Peru reported that Peruvian entrepreneurs have participated at Top Resa. It’s an international travel and tourism trade fair arranged every year in Paris, which took place from October 5 to 8 in 2021.
The Peruvian delegation, which had the support of PromPeru’s Trade Office in France, is quite hopeful to sign US$5.2 million in deals in the coming months.
Said delegation comprised 16 co-exhibiting companies —12 of which were receptive domestic management companies (DMC) and two hotels/lodges, one railway company, and one airline.
The pre-launch of the “Awaken to Peru” campaign was organized during this event with an aim to promote the regions like Cusco, Puno, Arequipa, Madre de Dios, and Loreto. On various digital screens, the campaign will be displayed at all the prime spots all over Paris and in Lyon from October 18 to November 28.
“Awaken to Peru” is targeting to reconnect Peru with possible tourists from France and fortify the position of this country as a safe destination that adopts sustainability practices.
The promotion of destinations using the Safe Travels stamp on this regard was intensified. Said stamp certifies that tourist destinations comply with all safety protocols.
