Phuket’s tourism industry is quite doubtful to achieve the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) target of witnessing 10 million visitors by the end of this year, as it struggles to move forward dealing with delays regarding reopening the country to tourism due to the pandemic,outcomeof the Russia-Ukraine conflict and long-term problems that were kind of “unavoidable”.
