P&O Cruises announced the launch of new loyalty schemes for agents

The recent announcement of loyalty club exclusively for agents launched by P&O cruises will be extended till next year to other Carnival brands.


It is observed that the launch of the Shine Rewards will be coinciding with the start of the Wave sales period from December next month and agents could register at shinerewards.com.



Shine will start its operation with a point system after registration and every interaction with the brand from making cruise, bookings to engaging with events and completing training will benefit the agents.



The accumulated points can be used for the P&O Cruises holiday or can be used for designer goods, experience days, technology and experiences with P& O Cruises Food Heroes.



Alex White, Carnival UK vice president expects that the other brands in the group can engage, offering Shine across the Carnival brand implied that the most loyal Carnival Corporation will be rewarded.


Shine was prompted due to the ‘unprecedented growth’ that P& O will be experiencing next year. It is expected to have 30% more capacity on sale.



Cruise remains 2% of the UK market and it is still not penetrated , in order to be successful the overall market should grow.



The P&O Cruises’ first platform will allow direct communication with the frontline travel agents and there will be direct and regular communication of news, campaigns and product knowledge.



With Shine both large and smaller agencies will be supported and will ensure that the right guests are on the right P&O Cruises holiday.
