P&O Cruises set to return to the Caribbean this autumn

P&O Cruises recently celebrated its return to the Caribbean after expanding international sailings this autumn. Following its transatlantic crossing, Britannia will begin its series of 14-night Caribbean fly/cruise holidays from home port Barbados on November 5. Azura will also begin 14-night holidays from December 10.

Paul Ludlow, President, P&O Cruises said in a statement that Caribbean holidays are build on very successful series of UK coastal cruises and now, following months of planning and preparation, the lie is ready to take guests further afield. He mentioned that the Caribbean is unrivalled in its popularity, beauty and diversity of islands and after missing out on international travel for so long, this year guests can opt for some winter sun or celebrate Christmas or New Year in style on the special Caribbean holidays on Britannia and Azura.

He mentioned that the new Caribbean season, running from November through to March, is a further positive step towards the full fleet returning to service and the company is looking forward to the opportunity to once again take guests to the hugely popular and much-loved destination.

Carol Hay, Spokesperson, Caribbean Tourism Organisation Chapter, UK & Europe said in a statement that the line is pleased that P&O Cruises guests will be back in the Caribbean to experience everything that makes the region very special from white beaches, blue seas, magical culture, delicious food and above all, the warm welcome. The destination also welcomed the economic support provided by after the global downturn in visitors and will be working together to sustainably rebuild tourism in the Caribbean.
