On the Queensland Government, slowly and gradually pressure is increasing to simplify the rules around travel testing requirements.
Premier, Annastacia Palaszczuk, asserts that from January 1st, she’s yet to take a decision whether she will accept rapid antigen tests after New South Wales Premier, Dominic Perrottet, yesterday has sparked uncertainty in his press conference.
Mr. Perrottet has expressed thanks to Queensland for transitioning to relaxed requirements. However, a spokesperson from Palaszczuk’s office says that no such decision has been made.
She gave signal that she will consider the move from the New Year but refrained from providing much detail on this.
