Principal to open hotel in London’s Russel Square

In early 2018 Principal which is a collection of exceptionally located hotels based in landmark building is all set to open in London.

 

 

The former Hotel Russel basically a Grade II listed building that is based on the eastern flank of Russel Square in Bloomsbury will be transformed into a glamorous , grande dame to its original glory with the unveiling of the 334-room Principal London.

 

The Frederick Hotels Company first opened its doors in 1898 and the hotels is steeped in history.

 

Principal London will have  contemporary interior designs by Tara Bernerd & Partners. Russell Saga Studio will pay homage to the building’s illustrious history along with stylish form and function for the modern traveller.

 

 

The magnificently restored Palm Court located at the heart of the hotel will reflect a true oasis in the city.

 

 

The high-end urban lifestyle hotel group, Principal earlier had openings in Edinburgh, Manchester and York. The collection also includes hotels in Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds and Oxford. It has further plans of opening in Birmingham and Liverpool.
