Punjab tourism is working on developing 4-5 wedding destinations, a new airport

During ITB Berlin, 2019, S.P Singh Dhindsa, Project Coordinator, Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board, Govt. of Punjab, speaks exclusively with Apratim Ghoshal, Editor, Travel and Tour World.

 

 

He said that they are working on the conservation and renovation of the old historical and heritage buildings and creating infrastructure with the help of other departments.Amritsar is majorly focused for heritage tourism along with Patiala, known for good architecture, Anandpur Sahib and Kapurthala, which was earlier a princely state and has French architect.Visitors from UK, France, USA , China , Germany, come to know the culture and heritage of the state. Punjab has good wetlands which attracts migratory birds, has improved last mile connectivity, it has best roads in the country and well maintained highways.
