Qantas and Tourism Western Australia have launched a three-day pop-up activation ‘WorkPlayce’ which will assist people in working remotely or unwind while seeing the sight of Western Australia.
WA’s breath-taking scenery, culture and food and wine in the heart of Melbourne’s Federation Square will be an added advantage of the three-day pop up.
Highlighting a different WA region each day, the ‘play’ space offers an interactive experience of WA with activities including a live demonstration of pearl harvesting from Broome, a Virtual Reality swim with whale sharks in Ningaloo Reef, and a photography tutorial. Qantas and TWA will also be offering complimentary beer, wine and food to attract Victorians to consider WA as their next holiday destination.
The ‘work’ space is a remote working room with Wi-Fi, power ports and refreshments featuring WA destinations on large screen TVs; from the natural wonders of Kings Park, to a sunset at Cottesloe Beach. For those looking for last minute Valentine’s Day plans, those who book an evening session can pamper themselves to a WA chocolatier and wine from a WA vineyard.
Visitors will be greeted by Qantas cabin crew and can experience the 787 Dreamliner Business class suites. The Qantas Dreamliner will begin flying to London (via Perth) from late March.
