Qatar Airways receives three global awards in the APEX 2020 Passenger Choice

Qatar Airways is pleased to announce that it has received three out of five global awards in the Air Passenger Experience Association (APEX) 2020 Passenger Choice Awards at the APEX / IFSA Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles on September 9, 2019.




The multi-award winning airline secured the world’s top rankings for Best Seat Comfort, Best Cabin Service and Best Foods and Beverages, and was named Passenger by APEE Official Airline Ratings with the world’s top-rated Travel App TripIt awarded as “2020 Global Five-Star Airline”.




In addition, Qatari’s national airline set a new record for a single regional airline in June, winning four out of six regional Passenger Choice Awards in the Middle East, including “Best Airline in the Middle East”, “Best Cabin Service in the Middle.” East “,” Best Food and Drinks in the Middle East “and” Best Sitting Comfort in the Middle East “.

The APEX Passenger Choice Awards and APEX Official Airline Ratings are based on passenger feedback gathered through APEX’s partnership with TripIt from Concur, the world’s top rated travel-organizing app. From July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2019, passengers have rated more than one million flights from nearly 600 airlines worldwide using a five-star rating scale. Passengers spend one to five stars on their entire flight experience and make anonymous ratings in five subcategories directly on the same screen: seating comfort, cabin service, food and beverages, on-board entertainment and Wi-Fi on board. Since only one operation is needed for the complete assessment, passengers create this rating in less than 15 seconds. The Passenger Choice Awards are independently certified by a professional External Audit Company mandated by APEX.
