Cunard’s eagerly awaited new ship, Queen Anne, has made her inaugural appearance in Singapore, docking at Marina Bay Cruise Centre on March 24-25, 2025. The stop was part of her 107-night maiden world cruise, which will explore over 30 destinations across more than 20 countries.

Queen Anne, which began service in May 2024, marks Cunard’s first new vessel in 14 years. Spanning 14 decks, the ship boasts 15 dining venues and can accommodate up to 3,000 guests, along with a crew of over 1,200. As a Pinnacle-class cruise liner, Queen Anne is named after Queen Anne, who reigned from 1702 to 1714. She stands as the second-largest ship in Cunard’s esteemed fleet.

A plaque exchange ceremony took place to celebrate the ship’s first visit to Singapore. Captain David Hudson exchanged commemorative plaques with representatives from SATS-Creuers Cruise Services, the operator of Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, as well as the Singapore Tourism Board and Wallem Shipping.

On March 24, over 40 local travel advisors were invited aboard Queen Anne for a special familiarisation tour of the ship’s facilities. They enjoyed lunch at the Britannia restaurant while getting a close look at the ship’s signature attractions. These included the Royal Court Theatre, a two-deck venue with 825 plush velvet seats, and the grand atrium, a stunning three-story space featuring a dynamic mural sculpture that evolves throughout the day.

The staterooms on board offer some of the most luxurious spaces at sea, particularly the renowned Grills Suites. These suites, ranging from approximately 301 to 1,440 square feet, are paired with two of the ship’s finest dining options, the Queens Grill and Princess Grill.

Queen Anne will return to Singapore in 2026 as part of her world voyage. After leaving Singapore on March 26, she will sail toward Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and then on to Mauritius, South Africa, Namibia, Senegal, and Tenerife (Spain) before concluding the journey in Southampton on April 27, 2025.

Singapore and Hong Kong are the only two Asian ports where Queen Anne will stay overnight, along with other cities like New York, San Francisco, Auckland (New Zealand), Cape Town (South Africa), and Sydney (Australia). Additionally, in February 2026, Queen Anne will offer a five-night cruise from Singapore to Hong Kong as part of her 2026 world voyage.
