Radisson Hotel Group comes to Germany

With developer Gerchgroup, Radisson Hotel Group has signed its first Radisson Red Hotel in Germany.

In a central city location, the new Radisson Red Cologne will be located which is just a stone’s throw from UNESCO World Heritage recognized Cologne Cathedral.

A new building for the lifestyle brand of the Radisson Hotel Group with an existing listed hotel propertt is being redesigned and supplemented.

A total of 262 guest rooms is available in the Radisson Red Cologne.

Elie Younes, chief development officer, Radisson Hotel Group, announced that Radisson Red is a very relevant brand for owners and guests. It perfectly fits the market in Cologne and will add a further vibe to its social scene.

In the second quarter of 2023 it is scheduled to open and will offer guests all the conveniences required to travel in comfort.

There will be an exciting restaurant and bar concept, a fitness studio and a creative 300 square meter meeting and event area.

Marc Thiel, chief transaction officer of the Gerchgoup said that based on huge demand from national and international operator chains right from the outset, they were able to look into several exciting concepts.

With the new and innovative Red brand the Radisson Hotel Group won them over.

It is wonderful for the city of Cologne to experience this kind of hotel in the location.
