Yesterday, the Rajasthan Cabinet permitted the Rajasthan Rural Tourism Scheme of this year for boosting rural tourism and for generating employment.
In the course of Thursday’s meeting chaired by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the Cabinet came to a lot of big decisions, including creating more opportunities for campaigns for state government workers and altering the Rajasthan Civil Services (absorption of ex-servicemen) rules.
The Rajasthan Rural Tourism Scheme will give rise to employment scopes in the villages and safeguard the handicrafts industry by building rural guest houses, agricultural tourism components, camping sites and caravan parks. Simultaneously, the scheme will familiarize domestic and foreign tourists with the rural culture of Rajasthan.
