Rajasthan sees increased demand for experiential tours

With Rajasthan’s vibrant culture calling again, traditional sightseeing in the state has now been replaced by an increased demand for experiential tours.

Data shows how tourists are now more interested in immersive tours that comprise a plethora of experiences. The demand for specially designed tours like heritage walks and food tours offer wonderful insight regarding the local ways of life in Rajasthan. On the other hand, specially designed tours like adventure tours and luxury staycations offer fresh ways of experiencing Rajasthan’s spectacular cities and their heritage.

Due to the wide variety of experiences that Rajasthan has to offer, it is growing gradually popular among tourists regarding experiential tours. The capital city of Jaipur is an all-round destination; around 39% of the total tourists to the city opt for local tours about its forts and palaces, while 21% go for luxury staycations and adventure tours.

A similar trend is noted for Jodhpur. While the city’s heritage has made local and experiential tours the most popular choice in Jodhpur, around 26% of the total traveling groups go for adventure experiences. 23% of travelers to Jodhpur tend to extend their vacations with short excursions to nearby villages and towns at the same time.
