The recent efforts, according to the new development, will provide more protected and opportune way in to arrive at and discover the location.

The increased tourist movement will assist the villagers to make a sustainable income. Tanot Village will get added power with amphitheatre, interpretation centre, eco-friendly zone, cafeteria, efficient surveillance system, solar empowered street lighting and other facilities. BSF will take the responsibility in terms of appropriate maintenance, implementation of exhibitions for the tourists.
Jaisalmer’s two well-known attractions located quite near to the border area have by now attracted dozens of visitors on an everyday basis:
• Tanot Mata Temple
• Longewala- A demonstration of bravery of the Indian Armed Forces
Recent activities related to tourism, as per the reports, will include Weapon Display, Inspiring Documentary films display and photo galley exhibition.
