After remaining unclear in thoughts due to the Covid-19, Rajasthan tourism has slowly started reviving once again. In 2022 so far, the state has attracted 14.9 million tourists. As confirmed by the officials of Rajasthan Tourism, this desert state of Rajasthan, in the first half of this year has witnessed around 14.8 million domestic tourists.

Roughly, 5.4 million domestic tourists visited Rajasthan during the same time last year because of the persisting pandemic situation. When COVID-19 was making its presence felt to everyone in a gradual manner, 11.4 million domestic tourists visited Rajasthan, in the first three months of 2020.

The footfall of domestic tourists in Rajasthan in the present situation has surpassed the statistics of the pre-Covid times, as per the principal secretary of Rajasthan Tourism, Gayatri Rathore.

This summer of 2022, the desert state witnessed a major rush in tourists. The tourism department of Rajasthan has designed to launch night tourism so that this year tourists have something special to explore while coming to the forts and monuments. During the evenings, tourists in Rajasthan can take pleasure in a great time and indulge in traditional music without having to pay for that.
