Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will be expanding its footprint in Vietnam by the signing of Ramada by Wyndham Halong Bay View.
It will be opening in the first quarter of 2020 and will be located in the heart of Halong City’s main tourist area and will overlook the breath-taking island scenery of Halong Bay which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The 200-room waterfront hotel is owned by Lac Hong Construction and Investment and be perfect base for the ever growing number of guests visiting the destination.
In the first half of 2018 Vietnam’s Quang Ninh province where Halong Bay is located it welcomed 7.5 million visitors and including 2.5 million international travellers.
As compared to the same period last year this marked a 14 percent increase.
It is expected that the Wyndham Halong Bay will be elevating the standard of upper-midscale accommodation in the area and has well-appointed facilities.
There is an infinity pool, 1,000m² spa and fitness centre, retail outlets, and a rooftop garden.
The hotel will offer easy access to all local business and leisure attractions that will include Halong Bay Cruise Boat Terminal,Sun Wheel Halong, Bai Tho Mountain, Yet Kieu lake and more.
There will be further expansion of infrastructure at Halong Bay and will include the opening of new highway that will cut down the travelling time from Hanoi to two hours. There will also be construction of new international airport located 50km from Halong City.
