RateTiger and Hotelbeds expands their partnership to launch new pricing models

A new occupancy-based pricing model (OBP) unveiled by Hotelbeds gives the hoteliers the chance to increase the exposure of their rooms by displaying different occupancy options. This offers the hotels an increased chance to attract tourists as people start traveling again.

This new strategy is conducted in partnership with RateTigers, a key partner of Hotelbeds. This gives the hoteliers associated with Hotelbeds greater flexibility in controlling their bring at which different combinations are offered, depending on the hotel occupancy. The Digital Commercialization Director at Hotelbeds, Mr. Paul Anthony while explaining the advantages of this system has said that this model would allow the hotels to have a more efficient overall structure, while they continue to develop a much more seamless process with them. He further added that Channel Managers will also benefit from this as this allows them to better monitor the inventory they push to all channels.

Mr. Paul further added that it was a great feeling to work with RateTiger. Their real-time monitoring and management of room rates, availability & across all connected sales channels can be a real game-changing the industry.

Mr. Alin Lazar the Vice President – Product Management at RateTiger said that they were also very happy to go into partnership with Hotelbeds as they became the first channel manager to offer Occupancy Based Pricing. He said that the benefits of of this pricing model are huge and helps hotels to appear in more search results, increase occupancy of more valuable rooms and boost revenue opportunities. He also stated that they are committed to developing new features and functionalities to make channel management more effective and profitable for our common hotel customers.
