RCA ranks Greece as the second-best tourist destination in Europe

At the 25th edition of the annual American Readers’ Choice Awards (RCA 2021), Greece came out as the second-best tourist destination in Europe after Italy. The awards ceremony was organized by Worth Publications and the bi-monthly travel magazine Recommend.

Greece shared a second position together with Ireland.

Between July 8th and August 31st, the poll was arranged online, with over 135,000 readers of the magazine selecting among assorted categories, like best destination, hotels and resorts, travel agents, cruise companies, car rental companies, airlines companies etc.

Every year, the Readers’ Choice Awards are handed out to countries and travel/tourism agencies as well as companies’ world over that have established themselves in regard to excellence, while attracting the strong interest of the global tourism industry.
