He highlighted Assam’s immense scope for eco, tea, religious and adventure tourism, diversity in its wildlife, flora and fauna. Kaziranga National Park is renowned for one-horned rhino and Manas National Park, a wildlife sanctuary for endangered species, animals and birds. Assam has the maximum number of golf courses in the country as a state which will be promoted in the days to come. Kamakhya temple and Pao Mecca are the most revered religious spots.
He went on saying that there will be further focus on tourists circuit development in the region with help from the government to make places more accessible.Priyanka Chopra is the brand ambassador for Assam and so far the state has received 6 million tourists while the number of foreign visits also kept increasing.
