Report of fumes prompts emergency landing of Delta flight

Delta Airlines flightAn aircraft of Delta had to make an emergency landing at Kennedy Airport on Tuesday after a passenger on board the plane started complaining of a headache on account of fumes emanating from inside the plane’s cockpit.

 

Delta flight 981 was travelling to Atlanta from Boston.

 

During this point of time, there was a report of fumes on board the flight, as per the Port Authority.

 

Thereafter the plane was capable of making a perfectly safe landing at JFK a short while after 3.30 p.m.

 

But, fortunately enough, there were no reports of any injuries or any sort of illnesses due to the abrupt landing of this Delta flight. Then, much later, around 5 p.m., the plane resumed its flight.
