He will be looking after all the strategic development, brand innovation and leadership initiatives for the world’s fastest growing luxury hotel portfolio, this will include Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels & Resorts.
He will oversee the continued growth of Hilton’s newest lifestyle brand, Canopy by Hilton .
Jon Witter, chief customer officer, Hilton was excited that Martin will lead their brand as his strong leadership skills will bring in a new chapter for the portfolio. Due to his deep understanding of strategically important areas – the global luxury brands and the Asia Pacific region makes him an ideal choice.
Rick holds an experience of more than 30 years in the hospitality industry. He is known to deliver six-fold increase in hotels, trading and under development with more than 600 Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts, Conrad Hotels and Resorts, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, Double Tree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton properties.
Rinck stated that he was excited to build on the opportunity represented by Hilton’s luxury and lifestyle brands being one of the fastest growing portfolio.
This is just the beginning as more than half of the global pipeline of luxury properties are in Asia Pacific region so there is a huge potential for the luxury and lifestyle portfolio.
