A number of pilots picketed Dublin Airport Thursday. The Irish Air Line Pilots’ Association (Ialpa) said Thursday night that its Ryanair members would stage two more 24-hour stoppages from 1am on Friday, July 20, and from 1am on Tuesday, July 24.
Almost 100 of the airline’s pilots went on strike Thursday in a dispute over seniority.
Thirty of the company’s 292 flights due to fly in and out of Dublin were cancelled because of the industrial action.
All of the grounded flights were bound for Britain as the airline attempted to avoid disruption to other European destinations typically used by holidaymakers.
