Sabre expands cloud services by partnering with Microsoft

 SabreTo expand icloud-based distribution and retailing solutions Sabre had entered a long-term partnership with Microsoft.

 

 

This happened weeks after a similar agreement was signed with Amazon Web Services. The commercial applications migrated to Microsoft Azure and DiFonzo, Sabre CIO said that the cloud would presents an opportunity to rapidly innovate, create and deliver new business value for Sabre and their  customers.

 

 

Sabre will be able to better harness the power of its data and apply artificial intelligence and advanced analytics that will create new services for hotel, agency and airline customers.

 

 

The cloud strategy of Sabre is continuously evolving and its customers can provide the travelers with personalised and integrated experiences.

 

 

It further works at innovating Beyond NDC and deliver next generation retailing and distribution solutions.

 

 

 

Vish Saoji, Sabre CTO mentioned that cloud technology is critical to their development providing customers with the bite-sized functionality that can be used to build large, complex applications accelerating speed.

 

 

 

The Microsoft Azure agreement will enhance Sabre’s stability and security, it will have a multi-faceted cloud approach  helping Sabre in intelligently distributing workload across geographies.
