Salamander Hotels & Resorts has been selected by the board of directors of Half Moon, one of the Caribbean’s most iconic resort destinations in Montego Bay, Jamaica to manage the award-winning 400-acre property.
Salamander owns and manages the Forbes Five-Star Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, Virginia; and Innisbrook Resort in Tampa, Florida and is specialised in independent luxury.
Guy Steuart, chairman of Half Moon commented that Salamander is their chosen hospitality partner for Half Moon as it is successfully known to operate luxury, golf and beach properties.

It further intends to build on its reputation of providing transformative experiences for generations of discerning travellers as they commemorate their 65th anniversary.
In 1954 the property was opened and expanded with the purchase of the neighbouring Colony Hotel in 1979. There were further construction of five-to-seven-bedroom villas and was re-branded in 2018 as Rose Hall Villas by Half Moon.
