The InterContinental Lisbon is the perfect location for celebrating the Holiday Season this December! There will be a guest of honour on Christmas Eve, who will hand out gifts to all the guests: you may know him as Santa Claus! And on New Year’s Eve, the hotel promises a night of entertainment with a DJ and saxophonist!
The Holiday Season has arrived, and with it, the InterContinental Lisbon has welcomed nutcrackers to our door and all the guests who visit the hotel! But the main character of this season will arrive on a one-horse open sleigh on December 24th, bringing many gifts with him! After a delicious supper, Santa Claus will hand out special offers and gift vouchers to use at the hotel, as well as colouring books and treats for the children.
At Akla Restaurant, the menu chosen for Christmas Eve features the traditional Cod Confit and Lamb Cutlet, with winter-warming starters, such as Pumpkin Cream and Tuna Cannelloni, and a delicious dessert: Christmas Tree (Matcha Ice Cream, Caramelized Apricot, Sichuan Pepper, Itajuka Chocolate Mousse and Creamy Tabasco).
On December 25th, the lunch will be served as a buffet in “Eduardo VII” room and will have a variety of salads; cold dishes such as Salmon Tartare, Oysters and Octopus Carpaccio, and hot dishes such as Leg of Lamb, Tagliatelle with Clams and Loin of Grouper. Finally, nothing like the typical Christmas desserts to sweeten the palate: Coconut and Raspberry Rice Pudding; Chocolate and Pistachio Christmas Log; Tangerine French Toast; King Cake, and much more!
2022 is coming to an end and the hotel has prepared an exciting evening to welcome the New Year with a DJ and a saxophonist guaranteed to get guests on their feet to dance the night away! But before the party, there will be a refined menu prepared by the hotel, especially for this occasion. After a delightful selection of canapés and the Main Menu, the hotel will also serve a New Year’s Supper after midnight, with options such as: Scallop Carpaccio; Sautéed Foie Gras; Cod Pastry with Pecorino Cheese and Truffle; Steak Loin “Prego” in Yeast Cake and Island Cheese and finally, Twisted Piña Colada with Jamaican Rum and Coconut Crunch.
To enter 2023 in the best possible way, the hotel will serve its usual lunch on January 1st – a buffet filled with flavours and refinement! The menu has a cold and hot station; a selection of seafood such as shrimp, crab, and oysters; a variety of main courses including Veal Loin and Pumpkin Ravioli with Ricotta, and delectable desserts such as Strawberry and Violet Tiramisu, White Chocolate Blueberry Tart, Pumpkin Dreams and much more.

Christmas Lunch is €95 per person with a wine selection included.
Christmas Dinner is €105 per person with drinks included.
New Year’s Lunch is €80 per person with a wine selection included.
New Year’s Dinner is €185 per person including a welcome drink, wine selection during dinner, and an open bar. (If you only wish to go to the dinner and not attend the party, the price is €135 per person).
Children aged between four and 12 years old have a 50% discount.
