Sar-i-Pul tourism thriving gradually

With peace and safety beingrecognized in northern Sar-i-Pulor Sar-e Polprovince in Afghanistan, tourism has started to thrive. More and more people are coming to visit the province now.

Sar-e Pol, also known as Sari Pul, is among the thirty-four provinces in Afghanistan. The place is positioned in the north of the country. The province borders Ghor and Bamyan to the south and Samangan to the east. It also boundaries Balkh and Jowzjan to the north and Faryab to the west.

The region is divided into 7 districts comprising 896 villages. Sar-e Polhas a populace of about 632,000,which is multi-ethnic. It istypically a tribal community. The province was formed in the year 1988, getting the backing ofSayedNasimMihanparast, northern Afghan politician. The city of Sar-e Pol functions as the provincial capital. Now, tourism is gradually developing in the province, which is attracting tourists in good numbers.
