SEGITTUR and FITUR have announced the third edition of the tourism chatbots and voice apps competition. Named “The Chatbots Tourism Awards 2021”, the event will be held during Fitur Know-How & Export to recognize the increasing value of chatbots in helping tourists at different stages of their journey. The contest aims to find the best solutions using chatbots and conversational technology, both in Spain and globally, thereby improving tourists’ experience before, during and after their trip.
This third edition of the competition will have a single category of award for the best tourist Chatbot of 2021. This category is open to businesses in all tourism verticals, including hotel chains, airlines, travel agencies and tourist destinations.
Entries are welcome for both conversational assistants based on messaging applications (like WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger) and proprietary channels (websites or mobile apps) and bots for mainly voice-based environments like Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa or Siri. Like the previous editions, SEGITTUR will be supported by Planeta Chatbot, the leading Spanish language website for chatbots or artificial intelligence, and a jury of tourism and technology experts.
