Showtime Event Group appointed exclusive caterer at Rippon Lea Estate

Commencing operations from July 2020, Showtime Event Group will continue growing the already established relationship with the National Trust of Australia (Victoria).

Rippon Lea Estate located in Elsternwick has had a long history as one of Melbourne’s most prestigious event spaces. The gardens and Ballroom have played host to hundreds of impressive weddings over the past five decades, and is famous for its Hollywood style swimming pool installed by socialite Louisa Jones in the 1930s.

The impressive precinct offers a multitude of spaces to activate for events, including the grounds, coach house, mansion and gate house. The Mansion will soon re-open with a new exhibition recreating Miss Fisher’s world, following the cinematic debut and filming of the popular series taking place in the estate.

As the events industry start to adapt to the ‘new normal’ Rippon Lea Estate will allow Showtime Event Group to develop several new initiatives that appeal to the markets opening up. Including a series of experiential dining concepts targeted at the incentive market and New Zealand bubble. The expansive precinct also provides options for Showtime Event Groups approach to creative conferencing that will appeal to the domestic business events, which will grow as state borders re open.

Showtime Event Group are now taking bookings, and will start operating events from July, following government guidelines around restrictions and guest safety.

Since rebranding in late 2017 as ‘Showtime Event Group’ , the business has continued its impressive growth that included appointments as Exclusive Caterer to the Old Melbourne Gaol (2018) and Exclusive Caterer and Event Partner to the State Library Victoria (August 2018).
