With borders reopening now and COVID-19 situation easing in many parts of the world, people are thinking to make Singapore their first overseas destination, since all vaccinated travelers can now enter the city without requiring to undergo on-arrival COVID-19 tests from Apr 1.
People are attracted to Singapore’s “hidden gems”.
Attractions like Merlion Park and Marina Bay Sands, Kampong Lorong Buangkok, Singapore’s last surviving village, and the Punggol waterfront are tempting tourists once again.
Singapore’s small size is another top draw for many tourists. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore said that Singapore’s air traffic volume had reached almost a third of pre-pandemic levels in just two weeks after the country dismissed most restrictions on air travel. It is also preparing to reach 50 per cent of its air traffic volume later this year.
