Singapore Airlines to invest more than £30 million for lounge overhaul at Changi

More than SGD50 million (£30 million) will be invested by Singapore Airlines at Changi Airport Terminal 3 to revamp its SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold Lounges.

 

In August the renovation will commence which is expected to be completed by mid-2021.

 

There will be an overall 30 percent increase in space and total customer capacity for the Terminal 3 lounges.

 

There will be more open spaces, upgraded facilities and a wide array of food and beverage selections will be provided as per the needs and preferences of the customers.

 

Hirsch Bedner Associates, renowned hospitality designers will be providing a fresh look and feel to the lounge.

 

There will be a brand new the private room and first-class lounge, with carefully designed luxurious and intimate seating spaces suitable for both work and rest

There will be four distinct zones that cater to travellers with different needs in the expanded business lounge.

 

 

In a relaxed café setting customers can have light snacks during their short transit. Those spending more time can go for a full selection of Asian and international cuisines in the dining hall that will have live stations and signature local delights.

 

 

The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge will double in capacity there will be larger al fresco seating and dining areas.

 

There will be restrooms and showers in the lounge.

 

The lounge will also be equipped w restrooms and showers.Senior vice president customer services and operations, Marvin Tan said that with extensive research and feedback garnered from our customers, they have re-looked and re-envisioned their customer journey to develop this new design concept for their lounges at Terminal 3.
