Singapore Airlines to fly non-stop to Sea-Tac Airport, America. It is the fourth North American non-stop destination for Singapore Airlines after San Francisco, New York (Newark), and Los Angeles.
The non-stop flight will take wings from Changi Airport to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in September 2019.
Courtney Gregoire, Port of Seattle Commission President said the new route to Singapore and connections to destinations will broaden the global connectivity of their region.
Singapore is one of Seattle’s largest untapped markets in the Southeast Asia region.
Goh Choon Phong, CEO, Singapore Airlines said that the services will strengthen the Singapore hub as customers will be able to access Southeast Asia, South Asia and Australasia faster from North America. It will help them grow their network in U.S.
The service will be available four-times-a-week starting from Sept. 3, 2019. The fuel-efficient A350-900 aircraft will have 253 seats (42 business, 24 premium economy, 187 economy).

Singapore Airlines also has a codeshare agreement with Alaska Airlines. Members of Alaska’s Mileage Plan and Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer loyalty programs can earn miles on each other’s flights.
